We walked down the wet cobblestone streets, laughing and talking. The rain had almost stopped and was now just barely raining, the streetlights shined brightly as the sky began to darken creating reflections on the wet ground. We approached the end of the road and came to an open courtyard surrounded by fountains and trees. At the back of the courtyard stood a palace with huge bronze doors that seemed to glow from within. We stood there admiring the view, watching people pass through the courtyard on their way down the road. I saw a couple, standing beneath the doors, leaning close to stay under the umbrella. They looked small and insignificant in front of the grand palace, but they seemed to be completely unaware of their surroundings, barely glancing up as they passed by the doors and into the dimly lit street, disappearing into the darkness.

I recognize this street! You have captured the essence of the night.in Morocco. I wish I could show your art in my gallery.
